AIRA (Artificial Intelligence and Augmented Reality) is an assistive technology that connects people who are blind or have low vision with an agent who can see and describe what is in front of them. This week on Talking Vision, Vision Australia board member, Cameron Roles is in conversation with Kevin Phelan, Vice President of Aira. They both believe that Aira will revolutionise the way that people who are blind will be able to move and access the world around them.
With the 2018 Federal Budget released in early May there has been a lot of discussion about how does it affect people who are blind or have low vision. You’ll hear from Jamila Savoy from our communications teams talking with Chris Edwards and Scott Jacobs from our Advocacy and Engagement team on how the Budget might affect you.
And Julie from the shop is on the program.
